People have been pouring into stadiums since the days of ancient Greece. This is because labor is cheaper in those countries than in the United States.

Broken ice dams are not the only problem that can cause flooding.When a large human-made dam breaks or fails to hold the water collected behind it, it will also cause serious damage.
Although scientists can not always know when floods will occur, they do know a great deal about when floods are likely, or probably, going to occur.

【 #高考# 导语】 考 网从陕西招生考试信息网了解到,2020年高考英语科目考试结束后,陕西省教育考试院邀请西北大学外国语学院有关教授和部分中学高级英语教师对我省英语科目试题进行了简要分析。具体如下:



本年度陕西省高考英语试题采用全国卷II,遵循“方向是核心,平稳是关键”的原则,围绕人与自然、人与社会、人与自我三大主题全面考查学生英语综合运用能力。试题基于高考评价体系总体要求,以学科素养为导向,重点加强对阅读理解、语言表达和批判性思维等关键能力的考查;改变相对固化的考查形式,促进考生提高学科素养和综合语言运用能力。

首先,阅读理解选材地道,话题贴近学生生活,内涵广泛且符合学生的认知水平。A篇是介绍文化类旅游景点的应用文,考查了学生的语言实际运用能力;B篇是有关益智游戏的科学研究报告,属说明文,介绍了智力开发的另外一种途径;C篇是有关维护生态平衡的说明文,体现了人与自然的主题,第31题具有较高区分度;D篇是讲述阅读乐趣及其重要性的记叙文,体现了人与自我、人与社会的主题,第32题的选项考查了学生的词汇能力,略具难度。B篇和C篇的选材新颖,考查了学生的思辨能力。“七选五”题型讲述表情符号对人际关系的提升作用。阅读理解总体平稳,试题考查全面,词义推断题由去年的一个增加至两个,体现了稳中求变的命题思想。

其次,完形填空是讲述主人公意外购得两幅名家油画真迹的记叙文,体现了美育思想。考查项仍以动词和名词等实词为主,第44和46题有一定难度。

第三,语法填空和短文改错涉及中国传统文化,旨在增强学生的文化自信。第62题具有一定难度,第64题设置巧妙。短文改错更注重对语篇逻辑的考查。

第四,书面表达采用了命题作文的方式,改变了近年来常用的书信或邮件的形式,内容设置了和同学一起去农场参加采摘活动的情境,引导学生在实际生活中参与和体验劳动,培养劳动精神。 青橄榄
